DICOManage 1.0 TomoVison is a Medical Image Viewer for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP/Vista (tm). Installing DICOManage DICOManage does not require any special installation. Just copy the files in a directory of your choice and use it from there. The User's Manual Using DICOManage is quite straightforward. You can start the program by clicking on its icon. It will present you with an interface split in 3 vertical regions. In the left window, select the root directory of the tree containing the DICOM files you want to manage. In the middle window, you can see the list of files found by the program. You can sort this list according to the file's name, the study dates, the study ID, the patient's name or the patient's ID. Note: The first time you sort the files, the program has to analyze the headers of all the DICOM files, this may take some time. Subsequent sort are faster. You select files from this list. These files can then be copied to a new directory or pushed to a PACS. You need to use the "Config" button to specify the target directory for a copy operation, or the PACS information for a push operation. The push operation use the OFFIS toolkit. Only uncompressed images can be pusshed at this time. Distributing You are encouraged to pass a copy of TomoVision along to your friends. If you do so, you must provide them with the entire set of TomoVision files.
