These equipments are incompatible with DICOM, the standard format in the industry today. It is the same situation for thousands archived medical images that are kept in hospitals and clinics' storage vaults. These archives are stored on a variety of physical media: tapes and disks of every shape, size and form. They use proprietary format that are difficult to impossible to read with the newer systems. TomoVision, a young North American medical software manufacturer has developed conversion systems and solutions to make these equipments and archives compatible with the DICOM format. Criteria
An ideal distributor for TomoVision's products should satisfy the following criteria:
- To have a good reputation as a resellers / distributors in the field of software, medical technology products or equipments in the hospitals and clinics of its region.
- To be familiar with medical imaging systems (PACS) and/or with software in the field de clinical health and/or with other medical technologies related with diagnostic functions.
- To lead a dynamic sales team that has a track record of proven results with selling products and technologies coming from different manufacturers.
- To have a strategic fit between its current product range and TomoVision's products and solutions.
- To be ready to market TomoVision's products and solutions in its region and/or country in a very dynamic and proactive way.
