TomoVision Releases DICOMatic 1.8 at the 2006 RSNA Meeting in Chicago

- TomoVision announces the release of DICOMatic version 1.8, that includes an improved user-friendly interface, allowing for more customization and control than ever before.

Version 1.8 includes new configuration windows for DICOMatic as well as for the readOmatic and DICOM_Watch modules.

DICOMatic

The DICOMatic configuration window is all new with version 1.8. The window allows easier editing of .ini files, writing of conversion rules and data element rules, and for the generation of audit files.

The new window also includes a DICOM Modality tab, catering to advanced users by allowing them to set defaults and overrides for any DICOM tags during the conversion process.
